Jason McNally on debut

And cricket returns in 2021.

1st Grade bowled Dapto out for 92.  Andrew McRae continued his good form from 2020, and took three early wickets, taking 3/23.  Wickets were shared amongst the other bowlers, but exciting was the debut of Jason McNally, who was on a hat trick with his leg spinners…finished with the figures of 2/2.  Nathan Loveday had a good day out, with three catches and 27 runs to guide us home for a double bonus point win.

2nd Grade’s game was abandoned on Friday due to the wet weather during the week.

3rd Grade White set 9/174 for Uni Green to chase. Hamza Maqbool made 44 and Jahanghir Jadoon 37. Uni made us work for the win, and batted all the way through their 45 overs.  Dawood Hassan picked up 3/43, and Abdul Afridi’s 1/12 off his 9 overs was impressive.  We won by 16 runs, holding Uni to 8/158.

3rd Grade Maroon were bowled out for 89, and lost to Balgownie 3/92.

4th Grade didn't have any games scheduled.
