1st Grade v Northern Districts - 5/10/2013

The first pitch of the season looked like it had some moisture in it.  Studz won the toss and bowled. Despite good lines from our bowlers, Northern Districts resisted well, and from 4/132 in the 40th Over, made 226 by the end of 50 overs.  Kain Flynn-Duncombe was the pick of the bowlers with 3/34.
We found ourselves in a similar situation at 4/124 in the 37th Over.  Saxon Wright (32) paired with Cameron Johnson (47) and the second wicket was lost at 93.  With scoreboard pressure mounting, we were bowled out for 153.

2nd Grade v Northern Districts

Again, we won the toss and sent the opposition in.  And with the bowlers doing their job well, we bowled ND's out for 104.  Sam Mutch taking 5/26, and James Clancy on debut taking 2/21.
We kept losing wickets consistently along the way, but at 5/84, the games was almost our.  But the last 5 wickets were lost for just 8 more runs as we went down to last season's premiers.

No other Grades or Juniors were scheduled for play.
